(5) All the Stevens family were delighted when they met up with Bob and Norma at The Hamilton Services in Scotland. Just in time for the families summer holiday.
(6) Sandy and Ian could n't wait to get her into the water but as usual Bob spent time going through the handbook to make sure everything was clear for Dad.
(8) A little nervous Dads sets off to tow his new Lugger for the first time; we told him it was effortless when we spoke later to see that they had arrived safely at their holiday destination.

(9) "Miss Amy" was delivered to Steven Rowton of Kings Lynn last month; with her full Oxford Blue Hull and Cream Deck the Original Devon Dabber looked delightful.
(10) Steven was very pleased with his
choice of all Oxford Blue Hull Cream Deck and once Bob had gone
through the handbook Steven couldn't wait to get in his car and
take her out for her maiden sail. Bob and I wish the family many happy sailing hours with her. |

(11) Oliver Dickson from Harwich
met us at his local sailing club in Walton on the Naze which
was having its open day.
(12) Wrapped up like Xmas presents all
the contents were checked and Bob explained the rigging proceedure
to Oliver as he had never rigged a Lugger before although he
was a very competent sailor.
(13) Bob has all the patience in the world
and does not mind answering questions and reassuring customers
on the rigging and handling of the Lugger.
(14) "Fair Wind" looked superb
on her Euro trailer with the extra security of a locking hitch,Oliver
knew she would be secure left in the boat yard.
(15) To everyone's surprise "Fair
Wind" had caught the eye of Kim and Ray owners of "
Sandpiper" also Burgundy Topland Lugger which was moored
nearby. They were delighted to know another Original Devon Lugger was to be at the yacht club and offered help and assistance should Oliver need any to launch his boat. |

Many thanks to Bill and Elspeth from Fishguard for sending us
this latest picture of Siaffre and the family. The Honda outboard 5hp 4stroke with a long shaft fits perfectly. She is moored at Fishguard where there are lots of Luggers Dabbers and Coasters, the area is ideal for safe family sailing. Bob and I look forward to meeting them both at The Southampton Boat Show. |
