"Dauntless 111", "Maggie", NonSuch, "Fair Maid", "Hunny B", "Pula" And Many More!
| (1) Original Devon Dabber "Dauntless 111" was collected by Mr & Mrs Ellis from Morecambe in April; Once again the all Racing Green Hull with a Cream Deck is very popular with the Dabber owners. Mr Ellis owner of a Longboat had owned and sailed a Dabber 20 years ago and finding her an easy boat to tow launch and retrieve was delighted to be sailing once again in this very versatile 15ft 6" boat and so suitable for the small Grandchildren. Bob and I wish them many happy sailing hours in the Lake District. | ![]() |
| (2) It is always nice when people decide to come and visit us at the boat yard to see the boats in build; Mr & Mrs Steven and family drove down from Edinburgh staying over night nearby then calling into the boat yard Saturday morning. They have chosen the ever popular Oxford Blue Topland Lugger with a White Hull Cream Deck which will be ready for their summer holiday mid July. | ![]() |

Ian decided not having too much sailing experience with a Lugger
to book some sailing lessons with our friend and (winter work
colleague Richard). Richard owns and runs White Cross Bay watersports Centre with his friend Jonathan at Ambleside Windermere in Cumbria. A very good sailing location with an easy launching pad and beautiful scenery. |

| (12) John Hother from Hove ordered one of Honnor Marines new Euro Trailers
for his 1993 Lugger; He also ordered one of the overall Acrylic Boat Covers. What an ingenious way to keep the cover taunt; John had used 6 empty 2 litre lemonade bottles filled with water to act as weights; Threading the rope through holes in the bottle tops: they hung symmetrically three either side giving perfect tension allowing the rain water to run off. Very clever John!. |

Bob and I took the Lugger to Liverpool Docks to see that she
was left in a secure compound. Sailing on the Sunday night ferry she arrived safe and well for Barry to collect and tow her home. We wish them many happy sailing hours in Ireland. |

As John is going to have his boat moored for the season at Plymstone
he had asked us to use the special Coppercoat Antifouling. Although it is much more expensive than the normal antifouling we normally use, it is guaranteed to last 10 seasons. |
