The Windward Cutter is the ideal cutter rigged trailer sailor and perfect for a crew of four.
The Windward Cutter is a very stable open day boat with 90 kg of lead shot ballast. With a long keel and two bilge keels there is no need for a centre plate and yet she still points extremely well. Also, with no centre plate casing, she has a massive cockpit for this size of boat and with a six foot beam she is ideal as a camping boat.
This boat has an efficient sailing rig, with two cutter rig foresails and a high peak gunter main, supplied as standard with a boom she gives an excellent sailing performance whilst remaining very stable.
As standard, there is built in foam buoyancy which gives her a Category C Rating, therefore an ideal boat for coastal or estuary sailing. She can be moored with a cockpit cover and has the advantage of an electric automatic bilge pump.
